Squier Chris Aiken Precision???

Well, just because I liked the neck and thought the mirrored pickguard was kinda cool, I found one in stock at Sweetwater, in fact their only one, it was the bass used for the photography on their site and bought it. Question is, will I like it? For $300, I guess I can't be too upset....right?

I like the looks of it, but I'd change out the guard if it were mine. Love the neck. Never heard of Chris Aiken or his band, but his bass is cool. I think you'll be happy.

Definitely interesting concept. Get your hands on the thing and change it if it doesn't fit your taste.

Although the whole, "you can floss in the pickguard," selling point has to be the most hysterical selling point I've ever heard.

Changed the pickguard for an anodized gold one and replaced the pu with a Seymour Duncan SPB-1.
Damn, how much I like the look, the sound and the feeling of this bass now! Thanks Squier.

Sure.
The mod was completed with a volume pot replacement and with a tone pot addendum.
Both DiMarzio 250k.
Now the sound is (for me) absolutely warm and gooooood!
