Squier CV vs USA pickguard fit

Ok, so I have a Squier CV Jag Bass that I would like a new pickguard for (it's a 9-hole). I look at WD Custom and they do not have this model. They have the Squier Vintage Modified (VM) and the Special SS (they are both 11-hole).

The Fender Jag Bass is 9-hole and they offer the MIM Player and Modern Player series.

Does anyone know of compatibility between the Squier CV and the MIM Fender pickguards? I'm not afraid to re-drill holes and am more worried about the neck pocket and control plate fit.

Wondering the same -
I have a
VM Special
And
Classic Vibe.
The CV pickguard fits right over the VM Special's, but the CV 9 hole pattern is different & appears to be the same as for the Modern Player series.
(Nobody has anything for the VM Special line)
If I had to GUESS, based on the use of jazz control plate & provenance,
i'd think that all three series use the same body template & that the WD MP Jag guard would fit the CV.
But that is just a guess,
And those pickguards aren't super cheap, if I'm wrong

Now that I've said it I gotta buy one and see if it fits.
Black pearl ? ? brown tort ? ? It's a black bass

To the best of my knowledge, the 9-hole CV stands apart from other 11-hole Squier Jag bass series and the Fender MIM would match the cut (but probably not match the screw holes).

Either way, I contacted WD and sent them a pencil tracing of the OEM CV pickguard. 3-ply Mint with 30-deg wide-bevel, FWIW.

Cheers!
