Squier endorsement?

It occurs to me that with the quality of instruments that Squier is producing nowadays, it might be a fairly good idea to get endorsed by Squier. Not Fender, but Squier. I wouldn't expect free instruments, but getting them for dealer cost would be a good deal.

Is this even a possibility? Am I just talking out of my ass here?

The first thing to understand is that the artists endorses the company, rather than the other way around.

We're sort of doing so already, just not in any sort of official capacity. One guitarist principally plays a JV Strat, the other switches between a Tele Custom (the one with the PAF style humbuckers) and an SG Classic, and I'm waiting for my Squier VM Bass VI to arrive (though I'm playing a MIM Jazz Bass in the meantime). I'm seriously considering picking up a Matt Freeman P-Bass soon as well.

Why wouldn't it be possible? Other players endorse them. But you still need to be the kind of player that might increase their sales by endorsing them. Meaning, you need to have huge numbers of fans and public exposure already or else be a total badass virtuoso on your instrument so that other players will read about you in magazines.

As for your second question... Well, that depends on you fit the description in my answer to your first.
