I'm looking to replace my MIM P Bass neck as the truss rod no longer works, it looks like the anchor has slipped out of place so the truss rod doesn't hold the tension anymore. I was looking at an Allparts neck with a rosewood fretboard but because the Canadian dollar is terrible right now it'll cost me over $400CAD to get a finished one. I did come across a Squier II neck with the rosewood fretboard in pretty good shape for about $280CAD shipped, it seems they are highly regarded and some say are almost as good as a CIJ neck. Anybody have some experience with the Squier II necks?
Also would anyone know what the heel width is on the Squier II neck?
