Squier timeline?

I'm trying to fill in gaps in the Fender Squier timeline. I remember when the first Squier Bullet basses came out but then lost sight of the marque by the late eighties. Then the Squier Pro-Tone series was launched about the same time Fender brought out the Foto-flame line and was in production for a few years before it was dropped in favor of a lesser-quality line whose name escapes me. And then we got the Squier production run we still have today.

I know there are gaps and perhaps some outright errors in what I have typed above, which is why I am starting this thread. For illumination.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but for basses, I'm pretty sure 2008 was the end of the Squier Standard series (they still make Squier Standard Strats). It coincided with the unveiling of the Classic Vibe series.
