Squier vs OLP vs Epiphone

I have played all three and the Squier kicks the other two's asses. Now when you substitute that for a standard Squier the playing field levels.

Also SX is ok, but VM Squiers are still better for the most part. There is a $200 price difference, but you still get what you pay for.

Squire is much, much better in quality then ever before. I recently bought back my first Squire that I sold to a friend (long story short, he's musically challenged.) It plays absolutely great. Rivals even it's older brother Fender in some cases. I took out the old pickups and dropped in Basslines 3/4 pound pickups and it sounds freaking awesome.
Now the OLP is actually very nice for a Musicman knockoff. I played one at a local guitar shop and it didn't feel much less then a Musicman. The only thing I noticed is it looked like it was built with very little money put into it. The Squire at least looked like someone cared about it.
And Epiphone, pch. I played a friend's Thunderbird and I hated it. Idk, I just didn't like the feel, the neck felt really bulky.

my 2 cents:bassist:
