Squier Walnut Satin Finish?

Anybody have a bass with this colour on it? I think it only comes on the Squier Standard Jazz. The musician's friend shot looks nice but people keep telling me it's "redder". Any chance of a real-life photo?

don't mind the new knobs on there. it comes stock with chrome knobs.

If you were up for a project, that would make for a good sand/refinish with a dark walnut stain. Since the finish is transparent enough already to see the wood grain, the wood underneath won't hold any ugly surprise (like knots, imperfections, etc).

I had a Preci of that series, but the body wood was like powder, when you put a screw out and back in. Othewise a nice resonating instrument, specially after I converted it active with a set of EMGs.

I know it's an old thread, but I have one and it's a very dark wine color, almost black. Seems to be darker than the ones I have seen. I love the color.
