SR506 vs SR706

I have made my choice, I went with the 2010 SR506. I just received it today. It took one day to receive it. I will post pictures later.

I was thinking of GHS originally. I normally put GHS on all my basses. I want to try something new, you think GHS would sound better.

The 506 and the 706 are honestly not that much different from each other. Say what you will about the top, but a top in my opinion offers nothing to the sound. $200 for a visual upgrade is too much. I would go with the 506 and strip the finish if I really wanted to.

the 500 series is a favorite in the low priced bass range. You should love it.
