The SR655 is one of my favorite mid priced Ibanezes. Heck, I like it enough that I am tempted to get one despite that pencil SR neck! Too bad it doesn't quite have that semi-Jazz bass tone of other reverse split pickup Basses, but this version P/J slap tone has a digital synth quality I like. More to the point, this bass generates the bright, but thick finger and pick tones that are so cool about PJ Basses.
