Stacking DOD250

Hey all. Looking at stacking my DOD250 with a fuzz pedal of sorts. Currently running it with a Boss line selector pedal (mixing clean and dirty signals) and sounds pretty sweet but looking for a bit more dirt. Am thinking of a Carcosa or a Fuzz War or would a bog standard (and cheaper) DS-1 do the trick? Open for suggestions. Cheers.

Muff into 250 is a classic combo for me. I usually use a Sanford and Sonny Bluebeard for the fuzz, but definitely experiment. Putting something nasty into the 250 tends to add crunch, but there is always a cut to low lows and you'll lose more regular sorta lows as gain goes up. This might be a useful feature or not, depending.

I like to carry some sub heft, so replaced the 250 with an Amptweaker Tightfuzz. I don't love the gain sound as much as the 250 but I keep/boost lows and still add crunch.

I tend to arrange dirt pedals high to low gain, YMMV.
