Stage Left or Stage Right?

Are you a lefty? I'm a righty and the view of the drummer is one of the main reasons I like stage right (audience's left).

Next to the drummer's hi-hat, so it depends on if he's lefty or righty.
I get what you're saying, but after so many years of practicing with earplugs, It's easier if I can just watch the drummer instead of trying to hear everything. If he's on my left, I can view my fretboard when needed.

Sure. But, it seems that most drummers face their kick drum straight out, so if I'm on his right, he's constantly looking over his right shoulder toward me in order to make eye contact. That's why I prefer to be next to the hi hat.
I'm right handed.
I can't change my vote. I voted right.

If I'm playing with someone who I've played with a ton, or, if I'm doing a lot of singing it ultimately doesn't matter where I set up, especially if I'm using in-ear monitors.
No need to be sorry.
I've never played with a left handed drumer. So I chose next to the high hat...
Which means...for all practical purposes... Stage left always.

None of the above. Out of my last 5 gigs, 3 I have been on SR and 2 SL because we have some strange shaped/small venues around here. We had no drummer so no need to be next to him/her. Currently I am in a project with a drummer and will be, most likely, wherever the performance space allows.
I actually do stand in the center, with the drummer on one side and guitarist on the other. The singer is up front, so I hang back.
With my band, stage left to see the drummer. Jams, other side so I see the guitars left hand.
Bluegrass band with no drummer so I stand stage right so I can hold my EUB and watch the other guys.
5 piece with keys and 2 guitars. Opposite side of the kit from the keyboard.
Current band left.
Previous band front centre. Had a singing drummer, I did the most backing vocals.
