Double Bass stageClix jack v. stageClix pack

Hi, I have recently bought a Boosey & Hawkes Excelsior circa 1980 made in the Luby factory Czech.
I have had a Shadow SH 950 pick-up fitted to play through a Gallien-Krueger MB150 E III.
I am very interested in having a wireless system and am considering the stageClix make.
But I am unsure whether I would need a stageClix jack or the stageClix pack.
If anyone can offer me advice on this I would be very grateful.

Hi seanmc,

This is Tony Reeves from MTR Ltd, UK distributors for stageClix. The jack and the pack are essentially the same, but just in a different 'form factor' (in trendy speak). Either will work fine with your double bass - I would go for the jack simply so that you don't even have a lead going from the bass to your pocket, and it's a bit cheaper. I use the jack with my own double bass (and bass guitar) and it works really well, you notice the fact that it goes right down to 20Hz before beginning to roll off.
