I'm planning on getting a new amp as the one i own the now is just too quiet. I was looking at some 20 and 40 watt amps by stagg. They are quite cheap but ive been told that stagg isnt that good.
Any help?
I'm not too familiar with stagg, but if you ask me, you might be better off with a different bass combo. I would recommend hartke. they do design affordable bass combos that have more than 40 watts of power.
Stagg guitar/bass amps make EXCELLENT nightstands and end tables, for those who want a "musical theme"decor to their house.Price ain't bad either,as opposed to"real" furnishings.
How much are you looking at spending and what are you needing it for ? (bedroom practice, band practice, gigs?)
I'd say you would be better off spending a little more and getting a Peavey. Solid, reliable, good tone. Oh, and cheap! Can never go wrong with a Peavey as a starter IMO.
