Double Bass Stagg EUB tuning machines

Hi, friends,
I'm new to this forum, but look forward to getting to know some of you, and sharing thoughts and ideas. As most of you are well aware, we musicians aren't exactly rich, and so I'm hoping one of you could help me out in saving a bit of money. One of the tuning machines on my Stagg upright needs replacing, and wondering if any of you have a spare you would be willing to sell me for a fair price? The one I need is for the A string, and facing the Stagg from the front, it's the upper left. Another thought, if any of you know where I could get exact replacements, that would be appreciated. Thanks!
John

Thanks, Bluebird28,
I did check that thread, and though there is some interesting chatter there, tuner machines were not mentioned. I also did a search on this forum, and again, not mentioned. So this is why I decided to start this thread. I did have a chance to examine the type of machines this Stagg EUB uses, and am not impressed at all. Well, they're.....shall we say, not the best. But if treated with care, and properly lubricated, should work OK. Ideally, Grovers would be nice, but the cost is high for a starving musician like me!! I did check, and we do have a local dealer here in Portland, Maine. I was told this could be ordered, so I may go that route if I can't find one through this forum. For now, I hope one of you would have a spare around to sell me.

Hi folks,

I just see this 3 yo thread and I want to share my experience with you.
I've got a Stagg EDB for a while and I broke my tunning machines several times.
As a matter of fact, they are very fragile which is rather strange for a bass.
Actually, they are Fender p-bass style tunning machines. So, any p-bass tunning machines should work.
I say "work" instead of "fit" because there is no need to replace the entire mechanism : the axis with the cloverleaf is enough.

Best
