Double Bass Stand for an Amp Head

Raxxess AR-5 + mic stand.

Very clever Mark. I'll look that one up.

Using a Clarus III on top of an Epifani UL-110 the first thought I had about the amp head stand was of putting my Headway EDB-1 on a mic stand right next to me. It's got mic mount threads on the bottom of the case. I occasionally need to use it and I place it on top of the Clarus head. I would need a longer instrument patch cable, a short stand and I can put the cab/head anywhere I want.

Just thought I'd followup and confirm this mount works great!
Lets me move the speaker away from me and have the head at my fingertips.
I even clipped a small clamp (Harbor Freight) to the bottom of it which holds the bow.

I did add an extra strip of velcro for my own piece of mind and had to cannabalize a ring (threaded washer) from a 2nd mic stand to hold the mount in place.

I've been using one for years; I originally found it when my old band needed a way to stand mount a Boss Sampler on a mic stand, so our singer could trigger samples during the course of a song. We started carrying it because the one they make for the DTAR units is expensive, and difficult to use - the Raxxess seems so much easier (and it tilts it up for you, too!)
