Star Wars or Star Trek...You make the Call

STAR WARS!

unfortunately, the trekkie geek crew of TB will be arriving shortly to rationally explain in extreme geeky detail exactly why Star Trek would proceed to disembowel the Star Wars universe if they ever declared war on each other. I personally don't buy their arguments for a second, but the collective geek aura they generate when coalescing in one thread together usually forces the star wars fans out (if only to maintain their sanity), and the trekkies then win by default.

star trek is a lot more realistic, and makes at least an attempt to be scientifically plausible.

starwars doesn't concern itself with anything like believability or factual plausability (or even fundamental science and math heh) in any element of its story structure. which is cool too :D.

i like them both equally well, although i think i favor star trek, despite that i've played a starwars mmo for the past 6.5 years.

wars! hands down...its all about intergalactic civil war (read: gentrification) :D
(sidenote:3 people will get this joke)

i did however see the new star trek movie and ive never wanted to be naughty with anything with green skin so much in my life and this includes my fantasy of putting a saddle on a dinosaur and wrecking things.

true but he can move objects into the Borg and he can hurl his light saber at them at take out their legs

but it does make you think

But I think sheer numbers would overwhelm him. I don't remember exactly, but I don't think we ever did get a real idea of how many Borg there are and how many ships there are. If one ship can take out most of Starfleet, then imagine what a hundred could do.
