Started to explore the band YES....

Drama is one of my favorites as well. Trevor Horn did a phenomenal job on that record.
Drama is awesome (sans Jon Anderson and Wakeman), also Fragile are good ones to get under your belt before jumping into Close to the Edge or Relayer.
I'm probably in the minority here with the Yes fans but my favorite album is Drama. I know it was missing its key member's Anderson and Wakeman but I love Trevor Horn and Greg Downes and the result was a Buggles/Yes kinda mashup. Squire's basslines are pretty sick on that album regardless.
I just saw this thread and had to read the whole thing, knowing that I was going to be the only one to like Drama, but there's more of us than I'd expected.

Short story to my basic introduction to Yes through two songs I heard out of the blue, and will always resonate within my head.
I was working on building a house and Tempus Fugit came on the radio - loved it from the first listen.
A couple years later I was listening in my friends car and asked what the incredible songs we were listening to were called, and they were Starship Trooper and Yours is no Disgrace.
Well, I guess that was three songs, but the last two are permanently interconnected in my mind.

Drama is nice solid kick off to the early 80's combining Progressive rock with new wave. Tempus Fugit is great. As much as I love Wakeman, Downes was on the same level. I like the vocal effect he uses with his synthesser.
