Best of luck. It has its perks, but is a ton more responsibility than a punch the clock position. No boss - ha....everyone is now your boss. Things slow? No paycheck, no soup for you.

That said, I wouldn't change it for anything.

It's Alive!!!!

Got the paperwork back from the Texas secratery of state yesterday in fax form. I need the hard copy for a few things (bank account for example). Have a domain name, but still need to build the website. Working on insurance, submitted all the paperwork last night. Have some one working on a logo. Should get the draft logo mid next week.

Just a few more things to get in line before I can start to market myself.

Congratulations. I've done it a couple of times (went full-time in '08 to weather the storm) and it's hard work but one of the most satisfying experiences you can have.

Remember: (1) focus, and (2) cashflow is everything.

and yes, you will have to do a lot of managing (good that you have a lawyer and acct, tho).

i just heard that obama is talking about off shore drilling in the gulf. i assume that is your biz. maybe you are making this move at just the rite time?! live it, love it.
