static problem from new Thunderfunk / Avatar rig

Hey peoples.

Plugged in my brand new Avatar B410 Neo cab the other day,
powered by a Thunderfunk 550 amp that I got used from a TB'er.

Static. Almost like a radio signal, but with no signal.
There's some slight modulation, could be due to cars driving near, who knows...

Any clue as to whether that's more likely to come from amp or speaker?
I don't have an extra head OR another cab, so I can't determine this.
Until I go to a local music shop that does have these and might know what's up.
So until then, I'm asking you, people of TalkBass!
Any thoughts on what may be the problem?

I have seen similar issues with dirty input or effect jacks at time cause this problem..Make sure the effects sends and return on the back of the amp are clean.. run a jack in and out of the jacks on the amp a dozen or so times.. sometimes corrosion builds up on them and they do not close.. that will somewhat clean those jacks.. if you have some craigs deoxit.. that would be ok to spray in there too... Hope that is the only issue...
