I went a similar route with a Status neck and a Highway 1 jazz body. Love it!

I've also ordered a neck from Status, frets but no fretboard markers, but I've used Hipshot Kluson-style Fender tuners, no 21st fret. It isn't done yet.

Honestly, it's just a temporary solution to the piss-poor quality neck on my 2008 MIA Fender Precision until I can afford a "real" Status bass, which I've already told Rob about.
