Stay With Me - the Faces

(Ooh, sarcasm! Sounds like fun, let me try....)

Why no Mazer, I'd really love just 12 bars of root notes with a repeat at the end - or better yet, chord symbols - it only needs 3 - with a foot note "arrange as required".

Faithful to the original? Pah! Accuracy is just so last century. Punk it up! :b

(How'd I do? Did it improve the tone of the thread & overall communal atmosphere of this forum as much as yours?)

Actually, I'm willing to transcribe it for you in every detail if you want, you just have to tell me quick, I'm going to the army on Tuesday. My previous reply was posted in all seriousness :)

Then I apologize in all humility - I mistook your meaning, I'm sorry. I wasn't expecting anyone to offer to transcribe from scratch, I was just hoping someone had an out-of-print Hal Leonard or similar, and was seriously surprised this track has so little in the way of transcriptions.

To answer your question: the tab I found above contains simplified, truncated versions of the actual patterns used on the original recording. The video I posted is pretty much spot on but due to the camera angle its not really possible to tell what exactly he's playing. The tab seems close but not exact - not so much to do with the fills, rather the actual pattern itself - missing a few 16th figures and replacing them with a quarter or 8th's.
