Curious, what software did you use to EQ out the original and add in your part?

Thanks! I used Sonar (by Cakewalk). I dropped the original audio into a track and added an equalizer (or equaliser for our UK contingent) to the effects bin. Then I cut all frequencies below 1k.

Or something like that. If you have similar multi-tracking software you can experiment with the EQ to see exactly what to cut. But basically I took everything below the guitar, keys and vocals frequencies to nil.

Should I just sell my gear or what?

I've been trying to get my act together to either take Berkeley's on line bass course or go down to BIT and they both require you to make videos of your self so this is my first one.

I'd appreciate all comments and criticism.

FYI, I saw in another thread that the new November issue of Bass Player magazine has a transcription to "Peg", and the editor swears that it's accurate.
