Steinberger xz25 5 string bass

Are these bass bad. A local guy has one for sale. Thinking about it.

These are headless basses with bolt-on necks, not as sought-after as the classic all-carbon L and XL series, but decent instruments. How much is he asking? Depending on the condition, it's probably worth between $300 and $500.
