I used one when I sat in with his band a couple of years ago. I don't recall the sound, I just remember that I thought it was very uncomfortable. I was playing through one of those new Boise 'pole' amps. Everything was very linear that day!

i fully intend to get a L2A.. during the mid 80's i spent alot of time at local shops that had them, and fell in love with them in the process.. i just never ponied up the money to actually buy one.. i'm looking for a Brooklyn-made L2A with the Hazlab preamp in it.. and i know by the time i get one, they are going to be really expensive..
