Something about this guy is just....weird (in a good way).
Not as good as Jon Stewert, but he's pretty cool for a French guy. XD
As much as I like Jon, I always thought Cobert stood out the most.
I remmeber about 5 years ago when Cobert took over the Daily show for a few episodes (Stewert was busy filming in a movie or something like that). I laughed hard.
as funny as i find him, he is much too crazy for me to take for 30 minutes
i thought was perfect as a correspondent for the daily show
Hes funny but some of his stuff seems too scripted. Jon Stewart seems more of a natural.
Colbert is funny as a correspondent. I don't have cable but the other day I caught part of his show and it wasn't doing it for me. Maybe I just caught a bad one.
I was a big fan of Steve Carell before he left The Daily Show (back when I had cable!). Still a fan.
I hear he says a lot of stuff about House. So, yeah, I s'pose that makes him cool by default.
Ive seen a House reference once, it was kinda funny since i <3 House.
colbert funny? yall cant be talkin about the fellow on comedy central.
His show is funny for about 5 minutes each episode. Then, it's just too over the top for me. That's why he was so much better on the Daily Show.
He was my favorite corespondent on The Daily Show. I haven't seen too much of The Colbert Report so I can't comment on that.
Also, my friend's dad looks exactly like him. It's pretty funny actually, since he took us to see Jon Stewart.
you need to see strangers with candy.
that show was just awesome.
He's no Jon Stewart.
(one for the sp correction and one for the comment )

That show was terrible! Colbert was just like a really insignificant side character anyway, wasn't he?
But he rocked at the white house press correspondents dinner.
THAT was funny!
I think Colbert is hilarious. I watch his show whenever I can.
There was supposed to be a SWC movie produced by WorldWide Pants. Haven't heard anything on it, though.
part of the problem is that he's ALWAYS in character. and his character, by design, is loud, abrasive, and infuriating. as much as you might love the joke, 30 minutes of it is a lot of punishment. if someone is going to be such a perfect charicature of a loudmouth like limbaugh, you almost might as well watch limbaugh! i still watch colbert when i get a chance, but i'm usually pretty tired afterwards.
stewart has a better gig ... he gets to be himself, and even when he's manic he's fun to hang out with for a half hour.
