Stereo Vs Mono ??

How do you run your set up as stereo vs mono? Im not sure that im in the clear as to what the differences are, i have some vague idea but i would like to no more. I was thinking about purchasing a chorus pedal but from the reviews i read the majority of the people say this pedal is great if your running it in stereo mode, but you lose a lot is potential if your running it mono. Could someone please help me out? Thanks

Yep. Stereo effects are very cool, but you can only really enjoy that function if you have two separate amps or a two-channel amp with separate speakers for each channel. "Stereo" means two separate channels that either sound different or reach your ears differently due to placement, resulting in a "bigger" or "livelier" sound in your head.

Another thing: a lot of so-called "stereo" effects just have one output for the dry un-effected signal and one output for the wet 100% effected signal. Running them in stereo does create a very cool blended sound, but it's not like there's a left-right ping-pong swirl or anything else especially stereo-riffic about it. Not all stereo effects are that way, but enough are that it's worth being aware of.

IMO, unless you're doing some Brian May style stereo delay in a huge venue, no-ones really going to notice whether you're running stereo or mono.

My GT6B has stereo outputs, I would much rather you had the option to use these as high and low outputs instead. Much more useful.
