Sterling Ray5HH to H - parallel wiring question

My google-foo is failing me on this one. I've been lookong for a straight, simple answer for several hours now - I'm searching for the Dummies answer for me. I bought a Ray5HH because I specifically wanted the color (yeah, I know...)

My goal is to remove the neck pickup and all of the switching and just have the stock Sterling bridge pickup wired straight to the preamp. I've got it stripped to where I want it but I can't find an answer to wiring it. The pickup has four wires -green, red, white, black -plus the shield. Which two wires do I connect to wire it in parallel? After that, which wire becomes the 'hot' wire to the positive connection on the preamp and which goes to ground? Lastly, does the shield wire just go to ground?

I'm sure the answer is on here but I can't find it. I do not want any switching, nor any way to go back to series.

Thanks.
