Steve Digiorgio might be playing on the new Megadeth?

According to a new cameo video that Dave Mustaine made for a fan and some hints that Digiorgio has dropped on social media, it looks like he might potentially be the new bassist on Megadeth’s upcoming release.

This is all speculation of course. But I have to say if it’s true I might actually pick up the new Megadeth. I haven’t followed anything by them since Rust In Peace.

Ellefson will always be the “Megadeth” bassist to me, but I love the stuff Digiorgio laid down for Death and Sadus and his work on the past couple of Testament records has also been excellent.

If he is on it, I wonder if Mustaine let him go off and do lots of crazy counterpoint/fills like he did in Death or if used his fretless at all?

 

Looks like he is playing on it! Cool! I wonder if he held back and kept it simple like has on the newer Testament albums or if Mustaine let him go off like he did with all the classic Death/Sadus stuff.
