Hi guys, went to see iron maiden today in Nottingham, best night of my life! such an amazing band, and an amazing bassist too....Steve Harris, i loved his tone, i understand his technique after studying him all night, but does anyone know what strings he used?

That's so silly, but I guess when you're so rich you start losing common sense, eh? I'm sure his bass tech thinks he's a tard.
He wants a bright flat and that's why he changes them after every show. He's stated his sweat causes them to go dead before a show ends. I'm sure he doesn't pay for them and it keeps his tech employeed.
