Steve Harris technique

The two finger gallop seemed like impossible to me to sustain on the whole songs like Caught Somewhere In Time or Only The Good Die Young, or Run To The Hills, but now I can.
It became accessible after practicing a whole maiden album start to finish like 5 times a week.
When playing over and over you finally find the right hand technic to do it, put the right amount of attack to not cramp, and also the right bass setup.

It's just about practicing and commiting to it, and for Steve harris this is not an issue, because this his stuff, and how he makes a living.

So don't beat yourself over if you can't invest enough time in this, you just won't get the results without the time.

I am not saying Steve Harris stuff is easy or diminishing anything, it's just that the right approach to get there is to view it like a sport, it needs the physical training and repetition.

For a Maiden Mojo boost go buy 'Flight 666'. It had a limited one night cinema release here and man, next to watching Maiden live, it's just the best thing to see a Maiden concert gig in a cinema with the volume full whack.
Can't watch that seated :hyper:
