mostly affected by the input impedence of the amp.

I'm sorry if I'm such a poster, but maiden is my life, and since I'm a bassist, I NEEEEED to feed myself with knowledge of gear and people's gear xD

and in those pictures you see the same pete cornish device with dave murray and a roadie on the right: Below the pete cornish: yeaaaassss it's a GALLIEN KRUEGER 250ML(guitar amp/preamp?)
I love the sound of that dynacord btw

what makes you think that steve used a dynacord bassking?
are you referring to iron maiden/killers? have you ever heard one? well, i haven't and i've never heard this amp in conjunction with steve so i'd be doubtful.

the pete cornish switching device is something that all the members of maiden use/used i think. well, except for nicko and bruce, obviously.
adrian and dave used GK for SIT and SSOASS but steve didn't.

He uses a hiwatt 200 head, just like the guy on the 2nd post said.
and now the aluminium looking thing underneath it, looks like a solid state power amp(hiwatt is only 200 watts) or a compressor.
Damn Hiwatts cost 5 grandos muchas dolares

Its a 1972 Fender P-bass with a custom Seymour Duncan SPB1 pickups. He has the controls on the bass defeated and signals to the sound guy when he wants adjustments made. His bass has no logo because it rubbed off from changing the strings so often. It also has a BadAssII countersunk into the body so he can get low action.
