I'm having Steve Mcdonald build me a 30"short scale Bass. I found him beening the most reasonable hand crafted bass for my money.
I had Cliff Bordwell built me a awesome 30" short scale. Now it's Luither Steve Mcdonald's turn and his prices are best at this time. Decided to go with his AC 3004 bass design. Light weight, handcrafted bass. I did do some up grade like a custom wood top and some active components. The build is almost complete I have some pictures . Comes in 7.4 Lbs, Delano pickups , Delano 3 band sonar preamp,active / passive, 3 way switch for humbucker, hipshot badass bridge.
Mr. Mcdonald can put whatever pick up or if you want active or passive or both. 4 string handcrafted bass comes in about $1600. I'll give move reviews when I get the bass in my hands.
