Not to be doctor kills-a-joke, but a lot of fully blind people, at least in the US, are actually excellent typists. Most states have programs devoted to aiding blind children, with typing/computers being integrated into their education early on. They had me learning on an Apple IIe they gave me as soon as I hit second grade.

I'm legally blind. With my glasses on, my vision at best is 20/200 and I have multiple other eye issues that make it even worse in certain situations. Sorry- most of the regulars around here already knew that about me so I sometimes forget that a lot of youze guys don't.
