Stickers / Marker / Tape For Pedal Settings

Every pedal I use frequently ends up being temporarily marked in some way. I've used pencil, because it erases easy. I've used masking tape because it also removes easily. Often, I've used a hole punch to make round dots with self-adhesive material. Anything that can be removed without leaving marks is acceptable to me.

I use the Setting Saver from Stage Trix. It holds up well and wipes off clean.

I’m sure this has been discussed before, but I can’t find it. Is there anything on the market that I can easily use to mark down pedal settings? It seems like things always get bumped around and I’m constantly adjusting trying to figure out where I like everything.

I bought a set of 'Mark-it' brand 1/8th inch stickers for exactly this. They were like $5.

Have different settings? One for home use, one for the practice space? They sell multi packs. Two settings, two different colored stickers.

I forget exactly but If you copy and paste into Google you’ll get a bunch of hits.

Thought of that, but I frequently buy/sell, so I don't want to risk having to sell a pedal with a sharpie mark on it.

Sharpie comes off easily with a quick wipe of alcohol.
Muuuuch easier than removing tape goo or white out. especially on small surfaces.
No rubbing. One wipe to get the ink wet, second it is gone.

All of my gear have my name in Sharpie on them, when time to sell, a wipe and it looks as new.
You are gonna buff out the fingerprints on the pedals anyway before shipping. The sharpie comes off easier.

On the side of the pedal facing my feet (away from the audience), I have light gray gaff tape, and I write settings in sharpie. If I want different settings, I rip off the tape and start again..

I've used that to bail myself out when I wrote on a white board at work in permanent marker (OOPS!)

I recently put some rubber washers under my "these stay set this way" pedals. It's been the perfect solution for me.

Sharpie/magic marker , just a dot on the body of the pedal to line up the white line on the knob. Can’t be seen from 5 feet away.

I think the company that makes the Setting Saver is gone. Everywhere I look lists it as "no longer available."

It comes off with 91% rubbing alcohol.
