My right forearm gets sticky when I wear a short sleeve shirt and slap because I rest it on the bass body. Does anyone have the same problem? What's a good way to make it non-sticky? Maybe, baby powder?

Sticky forearm

wrist bands are a good idea. I used to wear them on my right arm for shows. Because the venues we played at were so small they always got extremely hot so a couple songs in the set I was soaked in sweat and my wrist seemed to always stick to the bass.
What's the finish on your bass? Do you wax it?

My forearm becomes sticky when I play poly-finished basses, not oil-finished ones.
My wrist doesn't stick to the bass because it doesn't touch it. The part near the elbow sticks to the bass because when I slap, I rest it on the bass. Perhaps, I should wear a wrist band around the elbow.

You could even bring back those crazy 80's sleevelet things...you know, the sleeves that aren't actually connected to a shirt that were usually pink and accompanied large, feathered hair styles.
They also make these Scratch Pad things to keep your belt buckle from messing up your bass:

You could cut one of those into a smaller strip and slap it on your bass(es) that are sticky where your right arm goes.

i actually did a gig a couple years ago with a bass player who wore them. his were fishnet. he looked very pretty.
wrist bands are only slightly less objectionable but no less fruity
i always wear long sleeved shirts, but there was a time i didn't, and i must say i never once was bothered by my arm sticking to the bass. maybe try not resting it on the bass?

The guys in the band give me the occasional bucket of BS about it. I don't care, he wrist band thing works. My advice is, find a wrist band that is black and has no logos on it so it doesn't stand out too much.
Wrist bands also make nice string mutes, just slip it under the strings at the bridge or over the headstock at the nut. Give the bass a thumpy sound... fun for recording.
