I saw Sting for the first time in 1991 on the Soul Cages tour - brilliant show, my favorite Sting solo LP. You had guitarist Dominic Miller making his debut, and still with Sting 31 years later, David Sancious on keys and V. Colaiuta on drums. Yeah, top level musicianship. I took my wife to this show, and I'll never forget when the band came out, and here is Sting looking like a f-in Aryan model, tight black pants, a black shirt with short sleeves cropped up to the top flexing the biceps, black boots, a black bass - might have been an Ibanez Roadstar, not 100% sure, and of course, the blond hair. I remember all of the women were just transfixed on Sting, and that included my wife, who barely said two words to me during the concert. Oh, I do remember her saying something like "my God, here's really in great shape." That's when I started going to the gym to work out, and needless to say, I really got into good shape. So I guess I owe Sting a bit of gratitude for my transformation....ha, good memories!
