I noticed my bridge had a slight gap between the body and the bridge. I was able to tighten it flush to the body with an Allen wrench. Is it supposed to be tightened down flush to the body or was the slight gap supposed to be there? This is what I tightened down
I had 4 Stingray SR5s with those bridge posts and I never noticed such a gap under those posts. So I think you did the right thing by tightening them down.
My current Stingray Special doesn’t have the bridge posts. I kinda miss seeing them, but not having them certainly doesn’t hurt the bass.
