A couple of weeks ago, I posted about how much I love my new SR5 LE. Everyone chimed in about what a great choice I made and there were even a couple requests for close-up photos.

Well, I held off on that because there was one final piece to put in place. That piece arrived today and it's now in place.

I have never seen this color combo anywhere but it is working for me!

While I've never been a fan of gold hardware, with this pickguard I have to say it's awesome!

Congrats for such a beauty!

Now if only they didn't put this G-string so close to the edge of the fingerboard...

That's not the original PG. The color is called "Baltic Amber" and like you, I ordered it from Pickguard Heaven. When I first bought the bass, that PG is what I envisioned for it.

I'm gonna go against the flow here and say I'm not a huge fan of the brown body color, but the pickguard and hardware are pure royalty! I think an black or white body would compliment the gold perfectly. IMO, of course
