Stingray copies

What are some good, affordable, Stingray basses worth checking out? I got major Stingray GAS right now and I want to feed the slap n pop addiction.

Ray34 and Ray35 made by Sterling which is made by Music Man might be your best bet under $800.

TBCs (US & Import) and ATKs are great, but the Sterling imports are, by far, closest to MIA EBMM basses.

Any Stingray copy will be a licensed MM product because of design copyrights. There are hundreds of manufacturers outside of the US, so if you can get a hookup in Spain who knows where to buy an SX, get one of those. Otherwise, as used SUB and a Ray34 are going to be your only other options.

Cast my vote in for OLP. I had a 5 string model that was really nice. My set up guy said they are the nicest copy he has seen... and he has worked on the real things!!!
