stingray HH stealth issue with intermittent bridge pickup operation

this bass was a gift from my son and obviously valued for this reason besides the fact it is a wonderful sounding piece of wood and plays fairly well but this problem arose right at the experation of warranty [of course] but oddly enough it began working normally again out of the blue but has since become non working . if anyone knows of such issues or familiar with such please help me cause im at a loss here bigtime , thankyou

If you’re not guitar tech savvy you should take it in to a local guitar store / repair shop and have them sort it out for you. Will save you a lot of time and headache lol.
But yeah, this is usually either a solder joint gone bad, a potentiometer or switch gone bad, or perhaps a knob’s pot has loosened up and spun around enough to ground out on something else in the cavity.
Also maybe try a brand new battery first- you never know lol
