Fake. Stingrays don't have the truss rod adjuster at the headstock and the bridge is wrong. The sunburst looks cheap too
True. I had an early EB MM that had the adjuster at the headstock. The pre-EB ones did too. Not sure what year they were moved.There was a point in time when MM did a 4-bolt neck with the truss adjuster at the headstock.
You need to read the item description. The bass was originally a fake, and was supposedly upgraded to a real SR neck.

Look on here and compare... The neck might be a real MM neck but if it is then it's from the late 1980s
It says the neck was bought new in 2001 and they didn't have the headstock adjuster then for sure
