+1. Different folks, different strokes....

It is a only a minor detraction from some basses I have played and the very first SR 4 that I owned. The problem would, for me anyway, only show itself with subtle fingerstyle work. For agressive funk or rock fingerstyle or slapping it was never an issue. With my first SR4, I'm sure it was more of a case of me knowing the issue and conciously looking for it to show up.

My current SR4 is the best bass I've ever played, including some boutique basses and Wal Mach I that I dearly loved but that would also lose out to my current SR4.

MM hysteria has influenced my post again, sorry.......
