stingray vs cirrus

Which do you all prefer? Which is more versitile? Which has the best slap tone?

I've played both at guitar center today. I think the Cirrus sounds smoother and doesn't have much of that stingray growl. The stingray has more bite when it comes to slap.

It was used. Sitting next to a used Ibanez SRX700 and a Fender American Jazz, and a pedulla (for 600$ too!)

StingRay's got the better slap tone. The Cirrus might be a little more versatile, but I like the StingRay more. A lot more.

Agreed. Either way though, I own a Cirrus 4 and I've played Stringrays in stores and whatnot anytime I see them, and I have to say, the Cirrus is more comfortable, has better tone, and is sexier. But like donkey said, this is a very subjective comparison because the basses are so different.
