Sting's bass always looked 3/4 to me.

makes sense when adding in that Sting is 6ft tall as well and how the bass hangs.
A buddy of mine has one and wants to sell it for $400. Might have to pick it up.

Precisely. Love mine. A major U.S. retailer currently has an RB888 posted online, described as a "Shortscale." I e-mailed them to let them know it's a full 34"-scale instrument, but of course, they didn't bother to update the description.

I emailed them too ha. I bust them out on Lakland basses, too. They screw themselves out of a lot of money on wrong model #s. I'm only trying to help! Sometimes they change them, sometimes not.
