I heard an interview with him on the CBC the next day. He was being pretty philosophical about it. I don't know what it is about this city, man. It seems that we're hearing about a lot of this stuff lately. The Pascale Picard band had the same thing happen, and one of the bands playing the local pub scene (!) had their van broken into as well.
I hate that shift, man. It wouldn't even occur to me that I'd have the right to break into someone else's life that way.
wonder if it's the same lot doing all the stealing?
That's really sweet of the guy to do that. And what sucks is that Iggy finally let Watt use his Eden rig instead of SVT's. If Watt had kept using rented SVT's, he wouldn't have lost his stuff.I don't know if this has been posted, but a fan from New York drove up to Toronto, and gave Watt a '65 Gibson EB-3 as a gift to replace his lost bass. He's in the process of turning it into the mutt he lost.
