Stone Cold - Buddy Guy - Help!

I sat down to work out the bass line for Buddy Guy's Stone Cold. Normally I have zero problems in learning a new blues tune as thats all I play but....

This one is giving me problems. I don't know if its the recording I have or I am going tone deaf

The basic riff in this song sounds simple but I'm missing something. If anybody knows this song I would love to have somebody give me the basic groove or link me to a tab.

To me it sounds like this.

D-A-A lower octave Then a walkup of A-C-Db back to D.
