Stoner/DOOM Bassists Part 83: WHAT YEAR IS IT?

Round two of neighbor naughtiness! Now she says it helped her sleep better, calms her and she didn't get a headache, so she has determined I might as well continue the trend as I'm helping lol.

Now I'm reminded of John Redcorn.

Oh and high action, play over the fretboard. Hard or soft dig in or nails. Without a band and my gear in such a state of flux, fingers are the one constant variable. Pedals are always the same but I'm still waiting on my new dually rig so I can crank up and make some decisions about what will do what. Personally I really like dynamics. Maybe because shoegaze/post rock and the whole 90's rock "loud quiet loud" thing was always what I started playing with people first.

So John, are you charging her for the usual Spiritual Healing rates or writing it off as Community Outreach?

BIG MOUNTAIN FUDGE CAKE!

So is the first official date going to be a trip to the chip factory to eat a potato chip fresh off the line?

It's more of a "friends with secrets" kinda deal. Not causing any "Dale" true harm, but we have several mutual friends who really want her bad, and it's easier to just keep it hush hush, than disappoint and lose our friends.

Now this is how I imagine you look in real life

Max must too then

She did my dishes and actually made my bed while I was out grabbing the mail.

I'm kind of kicking around the idea of trying to start a heavy blues stoner rock band a la The Heavy Eyes and All Them Witches. I realized recently that every single one of my bands have had pretty heavy metal influences, and would like to try something a little more bluesy...

More and more lately that style seems to be my comfort music, I love so many different styles of music, but heavy blues seems to be my ear palate cleanser. Plus I think my musician friends who play jamband stuff and sublime type alternative stuff would be willing to try this out with me.
