I have an off and on love affair with this type of music. Used to listen to whatever The Bong Druid of Mammoth Weed Mountain was coming up with, and now I sometimes follow Stoned Meadow of Doom or 666MrDoom (youtube channels). So I've been exposed to a lot of stuff, but I haven't gotten very deep into any of them. Not sure where Clutch would fit on this continuum, if they do, but I have been exploring their catalog.
I'm neither a stoner nor a nihilist, but I like the moderately paced to sludgy stuff. Not Sunn 0))) so much, more like Truckfighters, Wo Fat, Kyuss, and the usual suspects. More stoner than doom I think.

And hey, who doesn't like Fu Manchu? Anyway, any bands you can recommend in this or related genres, like space rock, would be appreciated, along with any comments on these genres, the desert sound, etc. would be appreciated.
