Double Bass stool height?

Here is a link to one that folds AND is adjustable for height.

GOD BLESS YOU for posting this link. I've been Googling for a product like this for months and knew someone had to be making one. Pricey but at this point I don't care! I have bruises all over my legs from lugging my wooden stool into rehearsal. And as I am of the female persuasion, leg bruises are especially gross.

Anyway, I have read before and agree with the pant inseam method as a good gauge for a stool height.

You should try my way of carrying your stool to rehersals, Designate a friend from orchestra as a "stool friend" and make them carry it. One time I had to carry my stool, string bass and electric bass, and ever since then I designate helper buddies.

As for stool height, I actually like it taller side, like 30 inches. my old wooden stool was probably 28 inches but we raised it about and inch or so and added a small custom vinyl cushion and turned a 10 dollar wooden stool into a comfy working stool, looks nice too, we're thinking of a way to make it collapseable.
