The headstock reminds me of a Jon Hill bass. He is working Bootleg Guitars. Don't know if he could help, but it might be worth asking. He used to be Ohio based in his early days.

I have two. The other is an unopened Paul Gray. My wife said I am done.

Headstock looks to be a somewhat close match to a Yamaha TRB style.

It looks very well made for a budget build. The body looks like ash and the finish looks like polyurethane.
I wish you could take some headstock shots so that we can see what style of truss rod type is used in the neck.

It looks like a cool bass and i'll bet that it sounds great.

Sadly, as interesting as it sounds, it is way out of my scope of practice.

It sounds as good as it is heavy.
